Groups-Coming Soon
Group therapy is on our list as a service to provide in the future. Research shows that group work can be beneficial. Keep checking back to see if group work has begun at Mindwell. Let us know if you have suggestions about a group you’d like to see started.
Costs and Insurance
Our fees range from $130-$190 per session, depending on the clinician and the service offered. Various therapists are in-network with some insurance providers. If we individually are not a provider in your insurance network, we are still able to provide service to you through out-of-network benefits. We are happy to walk you through the process, and we offer all new clients an estimate of the per-session cost prior to your first appointment. It is our goal to make this process as transparent as possible so you know what to expect.
Utilizing insurance is your choice. Some of our clients prefer to opt out of insurance to protect their privacy, while others enjoy the benefit of getting financial reimbursement or some of the cost of services covered. In order to bill insurance, we will need to assign a medical mental health diagnosis to your set of symptoms which will remain part of your medical record. While this is not uncommon, there are clients who wish to avoid having a mental health diagnosis attached to their medical record. Also, not all insurance carriers cover all services, such as telehealth/telemedicine and couples counseling. Coverage is unique and specific to your plan, and you are encouraged to know what your benefits include. We are here to help guide you through the process and to assist you in determining what is the best choice for you.
Counseling is an allowed use of your HSA and FSA account, regardless of insurance network status. Please feel free to contact us with any questions regarding the financial aspect of treatment.
